App blocker for iPhone
Your app gets 30 minutes. Then it locks.
Pick the app you open without thinking. Decide how long you get on it. When the time's up, it locks.
Free to start. No account. It stays on your iPhone.
How it works
Set up in about a minute.
-
01
Allow Screen Time
iOS asks once. Screen Time is what lets AppTimeLock lock an app.
-
02
Pick an app
The one you open without thinking.
-
03
Set a time limit
Say 30 minutes. When they're used up, the app locks.
You choose how long.
Time limit gives you a set number of minutes on the app. Once they're used up, it locks for a while. Then your minutes come back.
Time you get
30min
Then it locks for 15 min.
Or make yourself wait.
Make me wait puts a short pause in front of the app, every time you open it. Close is the easy choice. Sit through the wait and it opens.
Write one sentence about why. You'll see it while you wait.
See how often it stopped you.
Each time you close a locked app, it counts. Your streak and how long your apps stayed locked sit right next to it.
Strict Mode, for weak moments.
Want to remove a lock at 1 am? It waits until the timer runs out. Loosening a lock or turning Strict Mode off waits too.

Questions
What does it need from my iPhone?
Screen Time permission. iOS asks once when you set it up. Apple's Screen Time does the actual locking, and it keeps your app list private, even from us. Without that permission, AppTimeLock can't lock anything.
What do I get for free?
One app, locked with Time limit or Make me wait, plus your streak and this week's numbers. The free plan doesn't run out.
How do I cancel the free trial?
Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then AppTimeLock, and tap Cancel. Do it at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
Where does my data go?
Your apps, limits and history stay on your iPhone, and there's no account to make. The app sends anonymous usage counts, like which screens get opened, so we can see what's working. Those never include which apps you lock. Payments are handled by Apple.
Can I still get around it?
If you're set on it, yes. It's your phone. Strict Mode makes you wait out a timer before you remove or loosen a lock, and that's usually long enough for the urge to pass.
